Jazzotron - Swing Revolution (Album Sampler) by Freshly Squeezed (Record Label)
Swing Revolution is Jazzotron’s fifth official release with Freshly Squeezed. After three EP’s and a special Valentine’s Day single, this 12-track album is aiming to bring together the best of Jazzotron’s musical output, while also introducing several brand new songs. Far from a simple compilation, every track on Swing Revolution has been revisited, reimagined and remastered into a new body of work. Apart from classics like Let’s Go and Diga Digga Doo, Swing Revolution also reveals a sneak peak into Jazzotron’s future with the new song My Revolution. It introduces a new featuring artist - vocalist Barbora Priester - whose voice could be heard on the 2018 Valentine’s Day single Be My Love. My Revolution weaves an arrangement around the singer’s voice that effortlessly blends electronic dance music, pop-drops and a brisk jazz guitar into a song that’s equal parts musical and clubby. Jazzotron’s songwriting versatility and eclectic musical experience ensure that this Serbian producer and multi-instrumentalist repeatedly delivers music that pleases those who seek a fresh take on a beloved musical tradition just as much as club-goers looking for an exhilarating dance-floor anthem. Swing Revolution brings all of it together and hints at an exciting future for Electro Swing and Jazzotron in particular.
